Summary: If you are a fan of Star Wars, “Mandalorian” (Season 2) does a superb job of continuing from Season 1. The show moves from episode to episode quickly. Each episode moves Mando and baby Yoda closer to their final objective while presenting a challenge in each episode.
The mix of characters from the Star Wars universe and Season 1 is great. Jango (Temuera Morrison) from the original movies, Ahsoka (Rosario Dawson) from the cartoons, Fennec (Ming-Na Wen), and Cara (Gina Carano) from Season 1 are examples of returned characters. They are interwoven into the tale, and I look forward to their individual spinoffs.
The new tales and characters are also interesting. Who can resist baby Yoda eating eggs from an aliens jar? Teaming up with sand people to battle a sand dragon. The new items kept coming, and all the time entertaining.
SPOILERS!! One of the items I didn’t understand was how old Jango Fett is compared to Luke Skywalker. I understand Jango is older than Luke but not that much older. The timeline intrigues me.
Plot: Mando (Pedro Pascal) continues his journey to return baby Yoda to his people.
