Bridgerton – Sexerton You Mean

Rating (2.5 out of 5)

Summary: The rating for me is 2.5, but if you love the melodrama, “Game of Thrones,” “Pretty Little Liars,” or “Riverdale,” then this will be a 5 out of 5 for you. It isn’t a judgment, simply a preference. My daughter, my niece and my mother liked it.

For me, this is like watching 8 one hour “Emma” movies. Yes, it is very Austenite. I found it very exhausting. The premise for everyone is they hide critical information from their loved ones. Shocker, when the secret came out, the drama starts.

The drama is typically revealed by a gossip writer called Lady Whistledown through a periodical. The Queen engages Eloise Bridgerton to find out the identity of this individual. The hunt was the most entertaining part for me.

The show does pop with extremely vivid colors. All the people are very beautiful and physically fit, adding to the appealing visual appearance of the show. And who doesn’t like a few sex scenes mixed in between the balls?

Plot: Daphne Bridgerton (HPhoebe Dynevor) enters the marriage market in the 1800s and receives the Queen’s endorsement. Will she hook the Duke (Regé-Jean Page) or some other worthwhile man?
