Ron’s Gone Wrong – Movie Goes Alright

Rating (3 out of 5)

Summary: “Ron’s Gone Wrong” is an average animated film. You know what the message is meant to be after the first 10 minutes, but the journey is entertaining. The movie caught the family’s attention as they walked by, which is always an indicator of quality.

The movie does make fun of our willingness as a society to allow companies to have to much information and access to us. There were also a couple of other more contemporary jabs that I enjoyed.

If you are looking for a film to watch with the kids, this is a great choice after the Christmas movies are done choice. I would go with the “Mitchells vs. Machines” long before watching this film.

Plot: Barney (Jack Dylan Grazer) has no friends in middle school, but he hopes his new B-Bot will change his situation. Fortunately, his B-Bot is damaged and teaches Barney and the world the true meaning of friendship.
